After 27 years of experience in the industry, Egedeniz is coming up with an idea that brings the famous Japanese “Ikigai” mentality into our sustainable textile industry: Own our portal where anyone can source sustainable materials just with a few clicks. Manifutura is for the people and small business looking to source sustainable materials with very low or no MOQ.

Due to the nature of our business, unfortunately it’s not possible to produce the exact amount of fabric for our private label cut & sew projects. We almost always end up with unused fabrics and these stocks end up staying in our warehouse for years. Now, whatever’s left at the bottom of the shelves will be on display at Manifutura.com. But Manifutura is more than just left-over fabrics, it also includes our R&D collection as well as never out of stock fabrics.

At the moment there is great demand, yet a major lack of sourcing for sustainable raw materials and for small scale businesses. Here we will be offering our stock fabrics and yarn with no or low minimums as well as custom production projects.

This of course, in addition to benefiting both sides, will also help avoid unnecessary overproduction just to meet MOQs. So, it will come in handy decreasing the use of valuable resources especially water, the most important one.

We know it’s not much, but it’s still a step towards circular economy.
